New Deus Ex 3 Trailer Released At Tokyo Game Show
Obviously, I love video games. I have always loved them, and in my life, I have played countless different games. There are very few games that I have played through more than once, however. The original Deus Ex is one of those games, and while a game that does manage to get another look usually only gets a second playthrough, I have played Deus Ex from start to finish nearly a dozen times. It should be obvious, then, that I am paying close attention to the upcoming third installment in the series. The new trailer has been released at the recent Tokyo Game Show, and you can see it in all of its glory after the break.
I wasn’t a big fan of the second game, but that was in large part because I was such a big fan of the first that very little could live up to the expectations. The other problem with Deus Ex 2 was that it was one of the early first person shooters to be released simultaneously for PCs and modern consoles, and the industry really hadn’t figured out how to strike a balance between simple and immersive when dealing with the console control schemes. I remain cautiously optimistic about the new game, though, and eagerly anticipate its release in the first quarter of 2011.
